Align your company with The Opportunity Network (OppNet) by becoming a Corporate Member

Values-aligned companies of all sizes and industries are invited to partner with OppNet by joining our Corporate Membership program. Members enjoy a mutually beneficial partnership that is personalized to take into account your company’s interests, resources, and goals. Corporate Membership offerings include a plethora of annual employee volunteer opportunities, visibility opportunities, and OppNet’s talent pool as a recruitment pipeline for internships and entry-level positions.

  • Corporate Members receive priority preference booking for OppNet’s annual volunteer opportunities.
    • OppNet will work with a company representative to determine which opportunities align with the firm’s engagement goals, interests, and timing preferences.
  • Corporate Members have the opportunity to be featured in OppNet communications.
    • OppNet’s communications and PR team is also available to support the company with internally and externally promoting this partnership.
  • Corporate Members have a consistent OppNet liaison who is available to speak with company leadership and can annually host a private information session for employees to learn more about OppNet and opportunities to get involved.

Corporate Members make an annual philanthropic contribution to support OppNet’s ongoing work with young people of color and first-generation college students. The contribution could be from the company directly, from an associated corporate foundation, a personal gift by company leadership, or raised through an employee giving campaign.

If the company decides to host an employee giving campaign, OppNet will provide customized promotional materials, a unique donation link, ideas for how to celebrate the kick-off and culmination of the campaign, and regular updates on the status of the campaign.

OppNet can also provide a grant proposal, report, or other materials upon request to fulfill any internal philanthropy requirements.

Below are sample benefits of Corporate Membership, customized depending on the level at which partners join:

  • Visibility:

    • Recognition as a Corporate Member of OppNet on our website and in our printed materials

    • Opportunities to be highlighted on OppNet’s social media accounts or in our quarterly business-focused newsletter, the OppNet Corporate Brief

  • Employee Volunteer Opportunities:

    • Volunteer engagement for 5-20 employees at bespoke events with some flexibility in date choice and time, up to 3 times per year

    • Reserved volunteer spots for 3-10 employees at OppNet events where other companies and individual volunteers will be participating as well, opportunities available year-round

      • Annual volunteer events include Speed Networking, Mock Interviews, Resume Workshops, and other 90-minute, evening events that professionals can easily join and find meaningful without extensive training or preparation.

    • The opportunity to host students (virtually or in-person when it is safe to do so) for a workplace tour that engages employees from across the company

    • Invitation for company leaders to be spotlighted as a guest speaker during a private Career Talk to be recorded and later accessible to OppNet’s 1,000+ student on our online learning management platform, UninterruptED

    • Opportunity for a rising leader to be considered for OppNet’s Associate Board

Corporate Membership giving levels are custom for each bespoke proposal and typically range from $10,000 to and $50,000+.
