Cari Sommer

Cari Sommer is the CEO and Founder of RAISE Communications and the Co-Founder of 10X Impact, a venture accelerator focused on impact-driven entrepreneurs.

Cari regularly serves as a trusted thought partner and communications strategist for today’s most prominent growth technology companies.  She partners directly with executive teams to drive market awareness and differentiation through thought leadership and executive communications. She is the host of the Pitch Factor podcast, where she interviews prominent business leaders on the art of the pitch, and a contributor to Forbes, where she shares advice and analysis on business growth.

Cari is active in the entrepreneurship community in New York as a member and advisor to the Leadership Council of Tech:NYC, the Advisory Council of Entrepreneurship at Cornell and Red Bear Angels.  Previously, she was appointed and served on The Dean’s Advisory Council for Cornell’s College of Human Ecology and The President’s Council of Cornell Women. Her philanthropic work includes roles as Chair of the Board of Step Up Women’s Network,  Founding Board Member of She’s The First and Advisor to The Children’s Museum of the Arts.

Cari is an alumni of Cornell University. She began her career practicing law at the New York headquarters of two AmLaw 100 international law firms.
