Katherine Pinzon

As the Manager of Corporate Partner Learning & Development, Katherine's work focuses on innovating and delivering capacity-building resources to achieve the goals of OppIgnited in creating a space for corporate partners to learn, design, and build inclusive workplaces to hire, onboard, and retain first-generation college graduates and talent of color.

She is known for her commitment to working with Latinx-serving organizations to bring awareness to the fight against gender-based violence and for organizing conversations and strategic changes at organizations that have worked on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.

Prior to OppNet, Katherine held positions as a Career Coach, digital storyteller, curriculum designer, and founder of a New York City-based youth fishing program, Pesca NYC. Most recently, Katherine worked as the Mentoring Program Manager at a Harlem-based organization where she supported, uplifted, and helped justice-impacted women gain access to higher education while achieving economic justice.
