Laura works across Google to strengthen relationships with the LatinX community through internal and external partnerships focusing on diversity, inclusion, and their intersection with educational and economic empowerment. Before Google, she held a series of roles in the Obama administration, including senior adviser at the Small Business Administration, White House liaison for the Department of the Interior, and director of outreach and recruitment in the White House Presidential Personnel Office. Laura is founding co-chair of LATINOS44, which provides training for Latinos in politically-appointed positions. She has a BA from University of Texas at Austin, and an MBA/MPA from Harvard Business School/Harvard Kennedy School. Laura joined the OppNet Board of Directors in 2018.
