Mette Loulou von Kohl

As a Curriculum Coordinator (College Transition & Success), Mette Loulou von Kohl (she/her) manages the development and delivery of curriculum for OppNet's Fellows program, specifically supporting the curriculum for OppNet's 12th-grade and college Fellows. She also supports OppNet's program facilitators.  
 
She joins OppNet from working as an educator, facilitator, and artist dedicated to popular education, art-making and storytelling in service of justice and social change. She has worked with young people in New York City, using performance-making to explore topics of violence prevention, conflict transformation, and healthy relationships, as well as facilitated critical consciousness workshops on social justice pedagogy and leadership development for young women and gender-nonconforming youth of color.
 
Mette Loulou is committed to breaking cycles of violence by creating spaces for brave self-exploration and collective healing. She received her Bachelor's from Bard College in Theatre, and her Master's from The University of London, Goldsmiths College, in Applied Theatre.
