Mia Flores

As a College Success Program Associate, Mia supports programmatic efforts focused on OppNet's college Fellows. Before OppNet, Mia worked for a first-year, first-generation program at NYU College of Arts and Sciences. As a former AmeriCorps member in Seattle, she also worked to support high school juniors and seniors in building community, helping students throughout the daunting college application process, and creating a college-going culture at the high school. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and Human Development from Washington State University as well as an M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from New York University. In her free time she enjoys reading, running, snowboarding, and shamelessly binge watching lots of TV.
