Sean Cohan

Sean is President of Bell Media. He is also a Director on the boards of H&R Block, AccuWeather, and Parrish Art Museum.

Previously, Sean served as Chief Growth Officer and President, International for Nielsen Media, where he oversaw the growth strategy, partnerships, corporate and business development, and all Nielsen international businesses, including measurement, as well as Gracenote Metadata, Nielsen Sports, and outcomes offerings.

Previously, Sean served as President, Digital and International Media at A+E Networks, where he managed all brands, services, content, and teams outside the U.S. across 200+ countries and managed all domestic U.S. digital activities including sites, apps, digital-first content, distribution, and licensing. Sean was formerly Senior Vice President, International; Vice President, Business Development & Digital Media; and Director, International Business Development for A+E Networks.  Immediately prior to Nielsen, Sean was a senior leader at Wheelhouse, a content, marketing, and venture growth company.

Sean has been named a Digital All-Star by Broadcasting & Cable, ranked in top 3 of CableFax‘s “Most Influential Minorities in Cable", and was called one of the “Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America” by Savoy Magazine. He was recognized in Digital TV Europe’s 50, in Cablefax's 100, as a NAMIC Luminary, and received a Diversity Leadership Award from Broadcasting & Cable.

Prior to his tenure at A+E Networks, Cohan held positions at Primedia, Morgan Stanley, NBC and A.T. Kearney. He is a director/trustee on the boards of AccuWeather, Parrish Art Museum, and Banff World Media Festival. He received his BA from Harvard and an MBA from Stanford. Sean joined the OppNet Board of Directors in 2013.
