Tonya Collins

Tonya Collins brings with her years of event execution experience to her role as Director of Special Events. In this position, she spearheads OppNet’s revenue-generating and donor-cultivation events, including the annual Night of Opportunity Gala. Tonya’s career in mastering high-demanding event productions started as a backstage manager at Urban One (formerly Radio One). For ten years, she produced and managed numerous concerts with top Billboard artists and an array of events featuring elite talent in sports, publishing, and film. Prior to joining OppNet, Tonya drastically increased unrestricted funding at The Family Center by creating its annual gala, an event she brought to life for six years. Tonya has a BA in Communications with a minor in Biology from the University of Texas.
