Wanufi Teshome

Wanufi Teshome is the Assistant Director of Partnership Development at The Opportunity Network. Wanufi brings a passion for empowering young people and extensive experience honed in non-profits, campaigns, and government affairs, which she leverages to support their growth. In her former role at Minds Matter NYC, she managed partnerships and led programmatic development and implementation for the career preparation program. Before that, as Youth Liaison in Mayor Bill de Blasio's Community Affairs Unit, Wanufi championed student voices, advocated for impactful policies, and built strong community networks. Wanufi holds a B.A. in Sociology from Kenyon College.
